Pergamon: Initiation

Temple of Gold
Its harps I hear from the distance
And roses, wild and alive
Climbing on the walls
Of the Ancient Consciousness
Like an ivy that rises from the bottom
The vines of Time are catching my soul
Embracing, in a wine dark embrace
Like the oracle of Delphoi
Gods sprout from inside me.
A temple of marble
Where hymns were once sung
Under the Daphne trees
While Gods fought the Titans
In their Mountains up high
Where the mover of the clouds, Zeus
Father of us all
Would write the fates
of the Worlds.
